Every single element of our swimwear is chosen with care. We utilize Other People’s Plastic and low-impact packaging materials to set a more sustainable standard, breathing new life into materials that are otherwise bound for waterways and landfills.

FABRICATION

FUSIBLE

The fusible interfacing of our suits is made of 100% recycled polyester from post-consumer PET bottles.

THREAD

Our swimwear is stitched using thread that is produced from 100% post-consumer, recycled plastic PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottles.

SEED PAPER

Our hang tags and button envelopes are made from a plantable paper that will grow Chamomile flowers.

BIO-BASED MAILER BAGS

We use a vegetable-oil based mailer bag that is biodegradable and home-composted.

HYGIENIC PROTECTION STRIPS

The liners on our bathing suit bottoms are made from a biodegradable wood-based polyethylene label film.

OTHER PEOPLE’S PLASTIC™ BUTTONS

OPP’s custom buttons are made from 100% recycled polymers, including 50% ocean-bound plastic that was gathered within 10 kilometers of the coastlines by local fishermen in Southeast Asia and turned into a premium, upcycled material.

PER-SUIT OFFSET

Our swimsuit material is made from regenerated nylon made from pre-and-post-consumer waste such as fishing nets, industrial plastic waste and fabric scraps.

INFLUENCE FOR IMPACT PROGRAM

For every Brand Ambassador we work with, OPP makes a pledge to Plastic Bank so we can make a splash together.
